About Us

Dear Friends and Fellow Servants in Christ,

Welcome to the Africa Pastors Initiative!
We are excited to have you join us on this transformative journey as we empower and equip pastors across our beautiful continent. At the heart of our mission is the commitment to plant sustainable churches that not only thrive spiritually but also contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Our vision is clear: we believe that every pastor deserves the tools, training, and resources necessary to effectively share the Gospel and lead Indigenous churches. To achieve this, we focus on a holistic approach that integrates church planting with practical skills in entrepreneurship, agriculture, and various income-generating activities. By equipping pastors with these vital skills, we aim to ensure that they can sustain themselves and their ministries while effectively carrying out their pastoral duties.

Over the next decade, we are dedicated to training 3,000 pastors, developing comprehensive curricula that blend spiritual knowledge with practical life skills. Our programs are designed to empower church leaders to create self-governing, self-propagating, and self-sustaining communities of faith.

We believe in the power of collaboration and are eager to partner with individuals and organizations that share our passion for developing resilient church leaders. Together, we can elevate pastoral development, strengthen the church in Africa, and transform communities.

With God’s grace and your support, we are confident that our vision of sustainable church planting can become a reality. Join us as we strive to bring the light of the Gospel to every corner of our nations and beyond!

In Christ’s Service,

Dr. Trus Nyowikeh Snr, PhD
Chief Operation Officer, Africa Pastors Initiative

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith and practice and contains all that is necessary for salvation and living a life that honours God.

The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, and plays a unique role in the work of creation, redemption, and sanctification.

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man. We affirm His sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His imminent return to judge the living and the dead.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not based on human merit or works but on the finished work of Christ on the cross. We affirm the necessity of repentance and faith for the forgiveness of sins.

The Holy Spirit: We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowering them for holy living, spiritual growth, and effective service.

The Church: We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers. It is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, and make disciples of all nations. The Church is also a community of believers who encourage and support one another in faith.

The Great Commission: We believe that Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all His commands. We are committed to sharing the Gospel and planting healthy churches in Africa and beyond.

Eternal Life: We believe in the promise of eternal life for all who trust in Jesus Christ. We affirm the reality of heaven for believers and the reality of judgment and separation from God for those who reject Christ.

Christian Living: We believe that every believer is called to live a life that reflects the character of Christ. This includes loving God and others, pursuing holiness, and engaging in acts of service and compassion.

The Return of Christ: We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom. We eagerly anticipate His return and the fulfillment of God’s promises to His people.

THE FUTURE

During the next 10 years, we will continue to build on this momentum and expand our reach and resources. Our goals are to:

  • Develop Additional Resources: Create new curricula, training materials, and manuals that comprehensively cover all aspects of our training programs.
